New to Cannabis and NHS? Here's how it works…

Step 1

Book and Attend your Appointment: You will meet with a health care professional to discuss whether or not medical cannabis is right for you.

Step 2 

Attend your Education Consultation: After consulting with the health care professional, you can either visit a Natural Health Services Education Centre or call 1-888-404-5217 to speak with our experienced Patient Educators. They will help you select a Licensed Producer (LP) that best suits your needs and answer any questions you may have.

Step 3

Registration and Ordering: Now that you’ve selected your LP you need to register as a patient with them. Visit their website and complete the online process. They will contact you within 10 business days and then you’ll be able to place your first order.

Step 4

Continuing Care: A follow-up appointment is a good time to ask questions or discuss any changes you may have regarding your medication, with a physician. In Alberta, the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta requires all patients to attend regular follow-up appointments every 3 months.
