About Us

We opened our doors on August 20th, 2014 as one of the first legal Cannabis stores in the state and the country. Since then we have dedicated ourselves to providing a unique and unequaled shopping experience for the Bellingham recreational marijuana market. Since July of 2016 we’ve also been able to provide sales tax free medical marijuana, or mmj, for the Bellingham medical dispensary community as well. We keep in stock over 300 strains of fresh Cannabis, and several thousand products. Included in our line up are flower (bud), pre-rolled joints, infused joints, trim, hash, kief, oil concentrates, dab, distillate, rosin, live resin, high terp products, salves, lotions, capsules, edibles, drinks, and a huge assortment of increasingly popular high CBD options.  We also provide extremely competitive pricing on paraphernalia, from quick and cheap weekend one hitters to high tech dab and dry herb vaporizers as well as locally blown artisanal functional glass. We think you’ll love our pot shop and the collection of timeless 19th and 20th century antique oak display cases brimming with world class, Washington grown Sativa’s, Indica’s, and cannabis paraphernalia.  If you haven’t been in lately you may be a bit blown away at the new layout and product offering since the expansion we undertook in August 2017.

Unlike in some places, here you can take advantage of the fact that our products are clearly displayed. The discerning consumer can select the ideal strains for their situation as well as select the very bud they wish to purchase. We have a team of approachable, knowledgeable budtenders excited to guide anyone from the casual beginner to the ardent connoisseur.

The online menu provided on this website offers a unique opportunity for you to browse our product lines from the comfort of your own home. You will be able to create a cart and check out with minimal effort and no need to sign up or login. Please keep in mind though, it is 100% prohibited for online sales and/or deliveries of marijuana here in the state of WA. The shopping cart is a tool for you to be able to place a pre-order for in store pick up only. We will be notified of your shopping list ahead of time when you ‘check out’ so that we can have your order ready for you prior to arrival.

[As of March, 2020 and due to Corona we have been authorized to also provide curbside pick-up for your safety and convenience. However the actual payment is still not permitted to be done online.]

July 2020:

As part of our ongoing commitment to greening our industry and workplace we’ve recently installed more than sufficient solar panel capacity for Cascade Herb.  Are we the only dispensary in the country to be 100% solar powered?? Hope not!

In related news: By teaming up with Bellingham’s Sustainable Connections, we are also in the process of replacing all of our florescent bulbs with higher efficiency LED’s, thereby continuing to draw down our consumption even while we ramp up our solar production.  If we can feed more green electricity onto the grid than we use…so much the better.  Thanks to you loyal customers, this has become possible.  We appreciate you!  Gaia appreciates you!
