History: The Cannabis Care Center began as a group of doctors in Monroeville, PA that became passionate about medical marijuana and alternative medicine choices. Cannabis Care doctors believe that they have a duty to their community to offer legal remedies and make a difference. They are committed to prioritizing customer care so that each and every patient leaves each visit with what to expect next. We ensure safe and efficient and reliable evaluations that the state takes into consideration for re-qualifying patients.
Procedures and Process: Pennsylvania residents wishing to obtain a medical marijuana card will start by getting an account id number or Pin number by navigating to PA gov Medical Marijuana website and registering with the state. The qualifying residents will then complete a form online with their information in the appropriate fields. Registration online requires residents to keep their user id and password and email after registering with the state in a safe place. The patient can also get help registering at the marijuana clinic.
Once an appointment is made, the Pennsylvania patient will come to our office which is complete with friendly knowledgeable staff members that will prepare the necessary records for the marijuana doctor to begin the cannabis evaluation. The Pittsburgh cannabis doctor will make recommendations for medical marijuana based on the benefits and risks for each patient. If the doctor qualifies a patient, they will then issue the patient a certification that allows them to use marijuana as a legal medication.
Once the cannabis doctor completes the marijuana card criteria, the patient will go back online and pay the $50 state processing fee to the Pennsylvania Department of Health. After successful payment, the state will send the patient their medical marijuana identification card in the mail, which then allows them to have access to Pennsylvania medical marijuana dispensaries in Pittsburgh and the surrounding areas.
The Center uses a one on one approach with patients to get them CERTIFIED, as well as a Telemedicine. With this approach patients in and around Pittsburgh can have an opportunity to connect not only to a cannabis clinic doctor near them, but over the phone on occasion for follow up appointment recommendations. Our doctors are certified by the State of Pennsylvania, are compassionate, professional, and conduct consultations in an inviting and safe atmosphere. Get certified or your money back!
