Kuchi

Kuchi is a small, compact cannabis plant which is ideal for growing in a small space. If you are a fan of The Cheese then you will like Kuchi as it is is a cross between a male San Fernando Kush and an Exodus Cheese female. This is the first strain which we officially developed when we first formed The Devil’s Harvest Seeds and is still very popular in the coffeeshops in Amsterdam (amongst locals and tourists). Kuchi is one of our most affordable cannabis strains, offering what we feel is great value for money. We are very proud to be able to share it with you. The “Special Relationship” produces a nice cross from both sides of the water – the best of California crossed with a great phenotype of probably the most well-known and popular of the UK’s strains. Kuchi really is a great marriage – a very interesting new hybrid with a knockout effect typical of a heavy indica. The Flavour is a somewhat “classic” skunk reminiscent of the past. The original Cheese mother controls the fruity, tangy flavour with the Kush father driving home a devilish indica punch. The Afghan heritage causes this plant to be compact with large, broad indica leaves which require a good level of pruning and are ideal for more hands-on gardeners. It is recommended to prune effectively to maintain the desired shape and to optimise light penetration. The Cheese genetics make for smaller, harder nuggets. Great for those with limited space, Kuchi is best suited for a Sea Of Green growing method of around 20 plants per square metre. As a grower you have the choice of harvesting at around eight weeks for a sweeter flavour, or up to ten weeks for a more powerful punch and a slightly higher yield. Although not extremely hard to grow, Kuchi is definitely on the harder side and is most suited to warmer climates when grown outdoors where it flowers in early to mid-September.

OG Reek’n is a new age ‘fuel’ Kush (as we like to call it due to the distinct flavour) also retains a strong citrus flavour from the mother – a female Wardareek’n which we were fortunate enough to be gifted from Rare Dankness Seeds. We selected a stinky phenotype of this very popular American genetic and crossed it with our most highly-potent and resinous Kuchi male which we carefully selected from The Devil’s garden to create the OG Reek’n. These genetics were always going to produce a killer cross and they didn’t disappoint; taking home a 2nd place victory at the highly revered High Times Cannabis Cup Amsterdam in 2014. OG Reek’n has firmly cemented itself in a competitive market as a force to be reckoned with and as a strain which can be counted on to always pack a lot of power. It is similar in growth to our Rollex OG Kush and displays a lot of sativa traits despite being indica dominant. OG Reek’n is a tall and stretchy plant which is good for Screen of Green method, as well as growing traditionally as a large plant. We find this plant easy to grow ourselves and very easy to manage in both of these ways. A top tip for a novice grower is to make sure to leave enough room for it to finish properly as OG Reek’n will double in height once the photoperiod is switched from vegetation. If you keep it small, you get a way better yield. Left to grow tall, the sativa qualities really start to emerge. The flowering time is fairly long so be prepared for these girls to grow if left unchecked. For these reasons we have given the plant an Ease of Growth rating of medium, but experienced growers will have no problems. OG Reek’n really isn’t a tricky cannabis plant and is capable of growing outdoors in most climates. Only available in non-feminized, you can tell the sex of the plant fairly early if you have a keen eye due to the emergence of pre-flowers. Growers wanting to grow mother plants or experiment with their own crosses will also value OG Reek’n for her strong and stable genetics. The strong body stone will be familiar to Kush lovers everywhere; perfect for evening relax, a deep and heavy stone. Ideal for a novice grower and a seasoned gardener alike, OG Reek’n never fails to reach its full potential.

OG Reek'n

Not to be confused with Rolex, our Rollex OG Kush is timeless in its own right. Rollex OG Kush is strong and hugely popular indica which grows like a sativa; tall and thin, so make sure you leave enough time and space for it to properly flourish. It can flower late, even into October in the outdoors. A few years back we toured the U.S. medical marijuana states and had the opportunity to sample some of the best and most beloved Kush strains out there at the time. We found several strong strains, but in many cases we felt a little something extra was needed to put the vigour back into the lineage. Of the many strains we sampled, only a handful truly had that unique flavor coupled with a strong effect. Rollex OG Kush is a hybrid of OG Raskal’s White Fire plus a Kuchi male. We found an amazing phenotype in Raskal’s “WiFi”, and when we crossed it with our Kuchi male we were able to produce some seriously next-level offspring. This resulted in one of the strongest mixes we have come across to date. Loaded with a high THC count, this OG Kush strain is one to take you off your feet after a long day. For us, it’s timeless, as we can appreciate her smooth flavor over and over again—and we never get tired of it! In 2013, Rollex OG Kush exploded on the scene and took home a 1st place victory in the annual and highly coveted High Times Cannabis Cup Amsterdam. This was one of our proudest moments, and one that has inspired us to keep on the hunt to bring you only the most killer cannabis strains. This success continued in 2014 when it again scooped 1st prize, this time in the High Life Cup.

Rollex OG Kush

Shoreline is a unique cannabis strain which is great in all conditions, making it particularly good for outdoor growing. Our Shoreline is a cross between a male Oasis plant from Dutch Passion Seeds and a cut of a Texan Shoreline female. The story goes that it was originally a Sensi Skunk phenotype which made its way to Texas, later getting the name after a legendary Grateful Dead concert at the Shoreline Amphitheatre, becoming an instant hit long before the internet! From what we know the original Shoreline has been long lost but somewhere along the way someone of this crew made a cross of Shoreline with an Oasis male from Dutch Passion in order to preserve the strain. Again it was grown out and another clone was selected and this is the clone we are using today. Shoreline is a very unique cannabis strain which produces an incomparable stench, and can result in a rainbow of different colours, making it a must try for beginner and seasoned growers alike. We love the indoor version of Shoreline, but we also have several reports from warm countries that it is great for outdoor growing. A very popular choice in the coffee shops of Amsterdam, and our most popular strain; this cross is turning heads wherever a bag is opened. Only available in feminized, Shoreline is a strong favourite of ours and has garnered multiple Cannabis Cup wins and awards across the world; holding testament to its wide appeal. We consider ourselves to have been fortunate to be able to work with this very uncommon cannabis strain. This is one of the stinkiest strains we have ever used. It has the really strong aroma of an old school skunk. What makes it unique is that the smell comes through on the taste. It is unusual to find a strain that carries a smell and flavour that are the same. Shoreline blossoms into an extremely colourful plant full of pinks, purples and reds. These colours start to appear after week 6. Difficult to master, Shoreline is not best suited to novice growers – it needs a lot of attention, but is definitely worth it if you want to impress your friends with some of the stinkiest weed you have ever smoked. It’s difficult to explain quite how unique this skunk is in all senses of the word. Seasoned smokers are left with their minds fully blown by the taste and the effect. Taste-wise, there is nothing you can point to as a comparison – Shoreline really is a unique flavour.

Strawberry Sour Diesel from The Devil’s Harvest Seed Company is a fierce fusion between a male Sour Diesel and a unique phenotype of a Strawberry Cough female from Dutch Passion Seeds.   This produces a strong taste which is an even marriage between the citrus flavours and the distinctive Sour Diesel which tells you straight away that you’re smoking on an indica.  With our Strawberry Sour Diesel, the results are often incredibly colourful and high yielding.  Growers love this classic plant with dream characteristics – beautiful buds, high yields and an early finisher – what’s not to like?! Great plant and bud structure make the plant remarkably easy to manipulate.  This makes Strawberry Sour Diesel very easy to fill a space with.  It is also perfect for a Sea of Green growing method. Strawberry Sour Diesel produces dank buds with a high CBD content, making it a favourite for those using marijuana for medicinal reasons. Despite being one of our original strains, the popularity of Strawberry Sour Diesel has grown with  stoners still discovering it.  Having placed 2nd in the High Life Cup in 2014, this medicinal cannabis strain is now being recognized as a major contender.  The unique fuel taste that it produces has taken the community by storm.
