Dear friends and community,
Please consider making a donation to Ron Leggett to help rebuild his small equity owned business that was targeted by armed robbers over the weekend of May 30th to June 1st. The robbers were operating under the cover of protests and looting that was happening in Oakland and surrounding cities.
Ron’s business was broken into twice during these protests within 24 hours and it was a total loss of assets, but more importantly devastating to Ron and his family as they have worked so hard to build this business to provide wonderful service to his customers and community
Because the police did not respond, the robbers had all the time they needed to breach all security measures in place, and therefore cleaned him out. He has nothing left except a few small boxes of important business documents and his Oaksterdam diplomas.
Ron has been a vital part of our community. He is a former firefighter, founder of the Oakland Food Pantry, a husband, and a dad who is struggling to save his small equity owned business.
Ron has put everything he has into this business and is determined to recover from this horrible set back, but the loss was severe and he needs our help to make a full recovery.
Please consider making a donation to help Ron rebuild Chiefing. Every donation counts and every donation will be greatly appreciated by Ron. Please share this with your friends and family as Ron needs our community's assistance to rebound.
