Sotho Heights - In the High mountainous Kingdom of Lesotho Cannabis Sativa has been grown for generations. It is locally known as ” Matekoane” and has a large export market. As with many countries early history is mixed with myth and Legend but it is well know that new African settlers in the Lesotho made business deals with the local San tribe and it is said that land was swapped for Cannabis as far back as 1550.
