The provenance of this plant is that mythical White Widow from the late `90’s. In an attempt to revive the spirit of the most popular varieties of the 1990’s, we rescued this jewel that competes with any of the contemporary prize-winners. Ancient Widow takes you back to that lost decade with the first inhalation of its balanced flavor of earthy and fruity tones.
With ancestors from Brazil and also the south of India, this plant has a structure typical of Kush plants. The flowers are close-packed and ultra-dense, but they are also of a smaller size than some other varieties en the Genofarm collection. The very abundant trichomes are what give this plant its white appearance. The Ancient Widow acquires purple hues in advanced flowering and above all in colder climes. The leaves are typical of indica and almost seem made of plastic; thus once again we recommend using netting or supports. Her growth is slower than other varieties in Genofarm so it is recommendable to give it a good growth period before switching to 12hr lighting. Ancient Widow does wonderfully outside because even though it is not an early finisher (nor late) it is rather resistant to fungal attacks.
