Marijuana and Chocolate: The Perfect Combo

Did you know chocolate can exacerbate and even prolong your high? According to a study published in the National Library of Natural Medicine, three substances found in cocoa replicate the cannabinoid chemicals by activating certain receptors or “increasing anandamide levels.” Certainly, this supports the common belief that chocolate will intensify and enhance your high. In fact, “a practical implication of this finding is that the amount of marijuana needed for medicinal purposes may be decreased by using it with chocolate…” Therefore, a person may need to consume less marijuana than normal to achieve the same high. Great news!
