And what about Moses? The guy disappears up a mountain all by himself for days. Only to return in a complete stupor, claiming “God spoke to him” through a “burning bush.” And said bush “commanded” him to chip out a bunch of directives on two stone tablets. Sounds like someone SERIOUSLY tied one on, no?
